hi there!
ok...haven't blogged in quite a while so here i am.
quite tired la so i will just talk in point form.
k lost my phone like last week?
got a free sim card courtesy of singtel.
thinking of getting an iphone.
but now am stuck with my old samsung phone which keypad is beyond crazy.
so whenever jac sms me if im going training, i need to call her back just to tell her if im going or not lol.
ok so according to plan, i went to check out the apple store @ paragon on sun with xian and my parents.
everything was settled, the guy even taught me how to use the iphone and also set up my account.
but i repeat BUT when it was time to pay, i realised i didn't bring my wallet!!!! so smart eh. lol.
so even though my parents could help me pay temporarily, i did not have my ic or ez link card or whatever.
then cannot do anything right, so we went home sadly.
but at least i managed to buy my baggy (:
then the same day, before dinner we wanted to try again, but we decided to go to comcentre instead of paragon for idunno what reason. so we were there and i was so happy toying around with the iphone again whilst waiting for my queue no. to be called. then before my no. was called, the person who was telling me about the phone suddenly told me that they have run out of stocks for the 8GB iphones. only the 16GB ones were available and it is ultra duper expensive. could even bomb my wallet. so i was like what the!! right, and this guy was like all smiley telling me that they don't have the phone lol. like it's super funny.
hm next, centaine just got her guitar hero world tour for christmas!!! way cool man that lucky woman!!! lol so now i'm like persuading my bro to get it for his birthday so that lil' ol' me can play!! (:
aiyah or i can just go to her house to play la lol.
what else..yea how can i forget!!!! my ISRAEL TRIP!!! (: YEAH IT WAS AWESOME!!! as expected lol(:
so we like went to Jordan for like a couple of days before proceeding to Israel. Israel's like so much better as compared to Jordan la lol.
k back to point form cos there's like quite a lot of stuff that happened if i can still remember.
rode on a camel twice with yen and my bro on diff occasions in jerusalem.
floated on the dead sea.
lost a lot of weight.
but ate a lot.
cos the food was yummy! what to do?
visited lotsa sites including gargen of gethesamane, mount of olives,via dolorosa, church of the holy sepulchre, dome on the rock....
but one of the most memorable part of it was chilling in the hotel room at night with yen.
where we would reminisce past gold moments when we were lil' babies lol super funny man.
an in our tour, there was this lil woman who was super funny and cute la lol. and when i said lil', it was literal.
she's so funny la. on the tour bus, she offered us some ba gua. but she knows pork isn't allowed in the country. so she told us to keep quiet and faster eat the ba gua. then she went around the tour bus offering ba gua to everybody else in full view of the tour guide. lol! like how discreet was that man.
lol then during toilet break at this petrol kiosk, there was this super long queue to the toilet for both male and female. so this woman, by the way her name's jacqueline too!! but diff spelling than jac lol! of ya so inorder to make the queue sorta shorter, she pushed 3 men into a single cubicle at once. then not only that you know, she like anounced to the whole world that there was forest fire outside so all the men will like go outside to release their pee lol!! i know it sounds wierd and maybe a lil obscene here but it isn't like that. lol.
ok then there was this funny incident which took place in bethlehem. our whole group visited the church of nativity where Jesus was supposedly known to be born in(now, i mean they built a church over the manger). so i like went in to touch the star (the spot where Jesus was supposedly thought to be given birth at) and everything was like super rushed cos there were so any ppl who were dying to take a pic with the star. so naturally, i asked my mum to quickly take a shot of me touching the star. so i was like smiling at the cam and al right, then my mum like pressed the button, but it was like the wrong button lol. she pressed the off button and the shutters went "snap" shut. so i was like what!! lol. so predictable man. so i missed that. following after, i went to the spot where the manger of Jesus was thought to be at. so again, i asked my mum to take a pic of me, i know im super thick skinned. so again she screwed cos she turned to go with the camera before the flash even flashed!!! lol what the!!!! aiyah where is my dad when i need him man lol.
k then bought lotsa barang barang.
oh ya plus one real cool thing happened on the plane to jordan. we travelled on royal jordanian airlines and their toilet's standard is terrible, like canot make it that sort, so i heard from my mum and bro.so when i needed to use the loo that time, i was like praying and praying for the toilet to somehow be clean cos to top it off, there was this long queue in front of me. so there were two cublicles on my side of the plane right, then when the person came out from one cubicle and i was about to enter it, this air stewardess cut in from who knows where and went into the toilet before me. she then came out saying that the toilet is very dirty and that she would need to clean it. so she went in again with her cleaning stuff. so i was like yay!! thank God. then i remembered there were 2 cubicles right, so i was praying that the air stewardess who was cleaning the toilet would come out before the other person so that i would get to use the clean toilet. lol. but in the end, the other person came out first and while i was about to enter the toilet, another air stewardess cut in AGAIN from i still dont know where and entered the toilet before i did. and she was like the toilet is very dirty so i would need to clean it, just give me a bit of time. so i was like double yay!!!! and almost wanted to tell her to take all the time in the world as long as the toilet is sparkling clean lol. so in the end, it didn't matter which toilet i went cos both would be clean lol and it really was clean, thought not top class lol so that was pretty cool ((:
shall stop here bout the Israel trip for now, next time then continue.
oh ya tmr i'll be meeting aunty jun with caleb at starbucks for tea or something lol.
