Hello! I think that I'm blogging more often now.
Today, I realised this really tragic fact: My chinese is deteriorating faster than anyone can freefall, which reminds me of my trip in NZ when i was in p6. Yeah, it was super fun, it was called the canyon swing, where we jumped down into a canyon and free falled for 180m before swinging for 60m? yep, super funand all the rafter in the river balow were cheering for us.(: but the guy who went first came up with his face so pale that he scared the daylight out of me. Anyways, back to the topic, ya, and how i realised my chinese was so terrible? I couldn't even communicate to the taxi driver properly!!!! I was like speaking in point form la. I think even the taxi driver also got no mood to talk to me lol. no no i shoudnt be laughing): Actually, i realised it a long time ago already during learning journey when my friend and i were like looking at each other helplessly, trying oh so hard to interview the chinese speaking shopkeepers.
Aiyayaya!!! what a disgrace to the chinese race! ):
Anyways, now to move on to the happy thoughts! I just came back from church!!! Like usual, service was AWE-SOME!!! Really best, you should come with me! Lol. Today, service was a tad different. Several people just came back from overseas eg. Hillsong conference, mission trip in cambodia so they were like sharing their experiences and everything. It was like the guy who came back from cambodia showed us a vid on sex sales there. This shocking reality really opened my eyes to what is happening out there while we are here in Singapore, sulking and complaining like a spoilt brat. It was like girls as young as six are already exposed to having oral sex with men or rather, cheap men. Super sad man! Makes me feel super blessed. I know this may sound cheesy and all, but it's true.
Following after, my youth pastor came up and shared his experience in sydney, australia during the hillsong conference. So funny, he was like speaking in this ultra pure aussie accent:" Hai! How is ayeveryone hearre todaae?" lol
Then, at one point, he was elaborating on the church being a community, then he was quoting an example from his trip where a group of girls just climbed this lil knoll at bombi beach and were just laughing and chatting like what a COMMUNITY would be like. Then he said that they suddenly called him over not to join the community but to help them take a picture of them. lol! super hilarious!
lol, then he wanted to tell us how cold australia was so he said:"we were there right after winter right, so it was so cold that, i brought hair standing to a new dimension" Lol!
Yep, conclusion is, church is one place that can really raise me back up on my two feet after a super long and tiring week, with more strength to carry on with the next. ((:
Ok, this is a really long post, gotta go eat my dinner lol. My brother called in for macdonald's!
